Asd closure cath lab @ 18mths now is 7 yrs old. since been diagnosed with asthma, pneumonia, ect... can it be related?

Unrelated: The diagnoses you list are not related to the earlier issue of an asd. Pneumonia can occur more often in asthma patients but can occur in isolation. There are some genetic factors involved in both asthma and a congenital heart defect, but they travel on separate genes and are not directly connected.

Not related: There is no relationship between the closing of an ASD and later development of asthma. If there is no heart disease, pneumonia not related.
