Rhinoplasty: Recovery after rhinoplasty depends on the specifics of the procedure performed as well as the patient's body. Generally, bruising lasts 7-10 days, swelling is moderate for the first 2-3 weeks and fully resolves somewhere between 6- 12 weeks. Each person is different, and these are just general ranges. Discuss your case with a board certified facial plastic or plastic surgeon.

Rhinoplasty & Photos: After rhinoplasty, you will photograph well after 8 weeks, even if you have had extensive external rhinoplasty with osteotomies. Make sure your photographer knows that you have had recent surgery so he can retouch the tip if it still looks a little swollen. Indeed, many models will work again after 3 weeks with the help of their photographer. Good luck!

Rhinoplasty recovery: Dear avalonavaoniz, after about 6-8 weeks, you may be too swollen for pics. After that time period, most of the swelling will have come down. All photographers can photoshop a nose smaller if there is residual swelling afterwards. Best regards, nima shemirani.

2-3 months: Most swelling will be gone in 2-3 months but you will notice subtle changes for a full year. Those changes are subtle enough that you should be able to work in 8 weeks.

Depends on extent: This varies by individual and with the extent of bruising as well as the activities required for your job. With some simple tip procedures, you may be able to return working with head shots in 10 days but with more extensive procedures and work requiring physical posturing or activity, 6 weeks may be recommended.
