Complicated : Obesity is now a cultural phenomenon. Though not exclusive to this country, portion size, junk food, targeted food ads to kids, easy fast food, sugar sweetened drinks, less physical activity and more of it sedentary, parental obesity, higher rates of gestational diabetes, etc. Lots of issues to address requiring school, family, medical, food industry, and govt. Support to deal with it.
