how can children avoid becoming obese?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Tanya Russo
24 years experience Pediatrics
Obesity avoidance: Sedentary lifestyle (not enough exercise), excessive portion size and high sugar/carbohydrate/fat/processed food diets are the most prevalent culprits in childhood obesity. All family members should be engaged in healthy lifestyles to prevent obesity in both short and long term.
