Exercises: Yes, but you don't need to focus on any specific exercise. Just get them to be active, play a sport, ride a bike, etc. The other huge component is nutrition. You need to minimize the amount of sugar, carbs, fat, that they eat. Cut out the candy, soda, ice cream, fruit punch, fast food, etc. Keep this stuff out of the house, and it will make everyone healthy.
