A member asked:

I have a friend whos sclera is fully golden yellow and he refuses to go the doctor to see what it might be do you have any idea what it could be?

Probably jaundice: Sometimes small patches of a yellowish membrane may form on the sclera of the eye, but for the sclera to be fully yellow is most likely jaundice. Jaundice is from increased bilirubin in the blood from liver disease or liver failure. Yes, your friend should see a medical doctor about this asap.
