Other symptoms ?: It may have something to do with the foods you eat, especially carrots and other vegetables. Although a coated tongue is not pleasing to the eye, it is usually not a sign of any serious infection or chronic medical condition without other symptoms leading to a diagnosis. As long asthere are no other telltale symptoms, trust your GP unless other symptoms appear...

It is normal: The yellow tongue discoloration depending on the foods ingested, tobacco use, and the amount of coffee or tea consumed. Avoid the predisposing factors and regularly brush the tongue (2-3 times) a day to eliminate the condition.
