Seek expert opinion: Growths, both benign and malignant, can potentially occur in any part of the eye. There is often at least a few possibilities in terms of a diagnosis for any given lesion and the answer may not be straightforward. If your doctors so far have been stumped, it is prudent to obtain an opinion from an expert in ocular oncology, perhaps at your local academic medical center. You should not ignore it.
