Dental check-up: Dentists and their assistants can provide dental care and abundant guidelines for self-care depending on the condition of the teeth.

Go to the dentist!: "bad teeth" can mean a lot of different things. Get your son to a dentist for an evaluation. If you can not afford a private dentist I am sue that dallas has several low cost dental clinics.

Avoid soda: In addition to getting into a dentist with your son, be sure you are helping him to practice good home care with brushing after meals, flossing and avoiding soda and sugary foods. While home care does not mean you can avoid a trip to the dentist, it can slow the progression of decay and disease.
