Does hyperopia always indicate an abnormal shaped eye?

No: Hyperopia occurs in normal shaped eyes when the optical elements are too weak, given the length of the eye.

No: A hyperopic eye is generally a little shorter front to back, but that does not mean it is abnomally shaped. In fact most needs for glasses have eyes that are normally shaped within the usual margins of size.
