A member asked:

If it is true babies are born hyperopic and later their eyes adjust, back to normal, then , why can't myopia go back to normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Babies are myopic at birth, seeing clearly about a foot or so and gradually improve to their usual acuity by age 5-6. I don't accept your initial statement as valid.
