A member asked:

Is it possible for a person to have myopia with one eye and hyperopia with the other?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Most eyes are fairly close in their need for glasses but a few have a moderate and rarely a significant difference between the two. This does include a few with myopia in one eye and hyperopia in the other. These can be corrected with proper glasses or contacts in most cases. Check with your ophthalmologist for the best options.
