Possibly : Teeth tend to move in response to the forces placed upon them. Muscles including the tongue can easily displace teeth. Eruptive forces also contribute to movement. If spaces are available and outside forces are placed on teeth they may drift. Exceptions occur when the teeth are ankylosed or fused to the bone.
