My son is 2 years of age, having fever on and off for 4 days. what should i do? his 4 incisors are going out. is teething the cause of his fever?

Possibly: If in doubt, get him to the dentist. I realize this may be his first trip, but better to be sure.

Usually: Teething is not really a cause of substantial fever.

Taking Fluids ???: F your boy has taken enough fluids to wet diapers every 6hr & is playful at times this is something that you may be able to wait out.I don't give teeth much credit for fever, but kids get a lot of minor illnesses during their teething years so teeth often get blamed. If this has altered his schedule enough to bother you have him seen during regular office hours.

Maybe : Try some liquid tylenol (acetaminophen) and have same his pediatrician.

See Dentist: Four lower baby incisors should have erupted 6-9 months ago. If just erupting now may indicate a problem. Please take your child to a Dentist immediately.
