Pinched nerve: Sounds like a pinched nerve. Keep am eye on it. If it doesn't resolve in 2 weeks see your doctor.

May be nerve related: Warmth, coolness, pins and needles, numbness are all signs of nerve irritation so you may be experiencing some referred symptoms from your back, particularly if you notice it with long standing or lifting actions. Pay attention to what causes the warm feeling and what, if anything, brings relief.
