See a dentist: See your dentist. Different things cause halitosis. Could be an infection, dry mouth, medications, tonsils, gum problems, tounge problems or issues with your stomach. Talk to your dentist to rule out any mouth issues then to an ear, nose and throat specialist.

Halitosis: Have you tried a tongue scraper? Many times the smells are associated with bacteria on your tongue. Many times it can be a release of a sulphur type smell from bactera on your tongue. Have you tried and antibacterial mouth wash? Consult your dentist or physician about both.

Usually a cause: There is usually a cause for bad breath. Proper oral hygiene and healthy dentition and gums is the most important. But meds, supplements, poor nutrition and leaking fillings and/or crowns (caps, ) can be sources. Get a thorough checkup. Brushing your tongue does help. You do not want to overuse breath mints, etc., because the sucking on the mints can cause problems over time.
