A 30-year-old male asked:

Having bad anxiety for 15 years.tried meds and therapy didnt work.i now get low grade fever(99.6),sweating+chills for months.doc tested few times for autoimmune,cbc, thyroid,inflammation, stool+urine and all are normal.can this be due to anx?

Maybe. Maybe not.: Hard to guess. A person who has health anxiety transforms many normal bodily sensations into symptoms to talk about. A likely majority of the symptoms arise from sensations that are normal and ignored in non-health-anxiety people. Therein lies the enigma. The solution is to treat the health anxiety issues, after which the symptoms that remain shall more likely be due to illnesses.

I suspect I have CAEVB. Persistent low fever, sweats, a swollen lymph node in neck, tiredness, yeast infections for 3 years now. No HIV. I took a CBC 6-7 months after symptoms onset within normal ranges. Should I worry about chronic active EVB?

5 year history of soaking night sweats, low grade fevers, joint and bone pains, and high wbc. Last CBC wbc@30k and neutrophils@25. Bone marrow biopsies negative for anything. Tested for everything. Doc thinks it might be a new disease? Any Ideas?
