As much as you pass: If you drink more than your urine output, you will develop swelling. You will find rationing intake under 2 quarts per day is fair enough. This includes all oral liquids even moisture in food. Do not pay attention to people who tell you to drink much to flush kidneys. This will only cause swelling and possibly heart failure if you at risk for it.
