A member asked:

What are the odds of someone my age having kidney disease? my urine appears bubbly i also hardly drink water i drink a lot of tea

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Kidney disease?: You cannot diagnose kidney disease by bubbles in the urine. Have a urine analysis done. If it is negative, you have nothing to worry about. If you have protein in your urine, you will need to see a physician to get some blood and a 24 hour urine collection to see your GFR and to see how much protein you have in your urine. Your water and tea ingestion have no impact on your urinary bubbles.
