Too soon to tell: Patients with ileal disease (usually crohn's) have increased risk for d deficiency. 25 oh d level of 32 is not deficient, or even insufficient (level < 30); deficiency (level < 20) is more uncommon. Levels depend on latitude, sun exposure, sun screen use, intake. Not a lot of foods w/vit d: fortified dairy/soy, fatty fish. Not a lot of sun in nd in the winter, and you are covered up.
