Vitamin D deficiency: Was your D deficiency measured w/a lab test? Did you doctor recommend 1K of D? That's not a lot of D. Please do what doc says. If calcium is low you can supplement w/it. You may be thinking of the need for D when taking calcium for low calcium but it is not necessary the other way around. Make sure you are taking D3. Peace and good health.
