Keloids: Depending...Keloids can be surgically removed, injected with cortisone to shrink the size or left alone. Laser treatments are now addressing keloids as well.

Yes, but...: It may reoccur or scar even worse. Some plastic surgeons can remove the kelloid scar. Some use Prednisone injections to decrease the chance of recurrence.

Yes: Keloid treatment in my practice is a multimodality treatment. It often rewrites the combined use of steroid injection, surgical excision, compression and laser.
