Can be normal: It is not unusual for children to have reactive lymph nodes especially with frequent colds and allergy symptoms. If you palpate the neck of many young children you will find a host of lymph nodes in the neck area. If your child is eating and playing like normal continue to monitor the node. If it rapidly grows in size, is painful or does not resolve go see your doctor.
