Nonspecific pain.: Fatty liver seems to be a common finding among ultrasound techs. This does not cause sharp or shooting pain. You describe pain which could be related to temporary stretch or distinction of the bowel or supporting structures.

Pain: Abdominal pain can come from skin, nerves, muscles, gas, constipation, gallstones, kidney stones, or any number of things. Go to a doctor to get checked out. Try a low fat diet in the meantime.
