A member asked:

Ive had a ultrasound and my pancreas is slightly fatty and irregular (in shape i assume) ive had ct scan, should i be concerned? i also have a fatty liver. i have no yellowing of eyes, clear urine but do have intermittent stabbing pain to left side?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

All imaging results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, you and your doctor should talk to the radiologist to ascertain if additional testing is needed to sort out pancreas issue. For fatty liver, you need to lose weight. Wish you good health!
