A member asked:

Can typhoid delay periods by 11 days i had 104 fever and grade 1 fatty liver fora month my ultrasound and ct scan showed my utreus and ovary are both normal in size and et is 5 .5 mm my cycle is generally 42 days?

I assume pregnancy is not an issue. A serious infection such as the one you experienced can delay your period that month. Your gynecologist can advise you best. A young woman with a grade 1 nonalcoholic fatty liver usually has some metabolic issue like obesity, hyperlipidemia, diabetes or insulin resistance as a cause.Your primary care MD or a gastroenterologist can evaluate & advise you. No alcohol
