Either: Any of the three is better than no one. It is actually more important that elderly people who have trouble with home care be monitored by dental health professionals. Schedule more frequent cleanings if there is a total lack of home care. Bad plaque means that the patient is having a hard time cleaning and needs tutoring if capable.

All of them: Any of the three choice would be excellent, as long as he or she is a heart warming, caring provider. Often the success of periodontal therapy relying on the continue dedication to stopping the disease through multiple appointments that includes treatment, follow ups, occlusal adjustment, evaluation, retreatment, etc... Success of the treatment required a long treatment course in many case.
