Bruxism: While there are some medication that reduce sleep bruxism (gabapentin, clonadine, clonazepam), there are side effects associated with them. The least invasive treatment would be to get an oral appliance from a dentist trained to make them well.

Bite guard: Bruxism is most effectively treated with a plastic occlusal guard custom made from an impression of your lower teeth. It can prevent damage to your teeth and some posibility to stop the unconscience habit. It must be addressed to prevent significant bone loss and/or joint pain.
