Yes if cleared: If you are medically cleared, you should try to return to work or school as a return to normalcy is important in any recovery from a serious illness.

Return to work: I agree with Dr. Cheng. If you have an infectious illness that may still be transmitted to others- I would delay return to work. If going to work is going to slow your recovery time that needs to be taken into consideration. Your doctor should be able to tell you when it is appropriate to return to work.
