How bad could your eyes have to be to not be able to get laser eye surgery?

See below.: The fda has approved laser vision correction between 1 to 14 diopters for myopia (nearsightedness), and 1 to 6 diopters for hyperopia (farsightedness). Most surgeons are more conservative than these limits and find the best results for less than 9 diopters for myopia and less than 4 diopters for hyperopia.
