Eyes still developin: Your eyes are still growing and so lasik may be a waste of money if your eyes are still changing. Legally, lasik was only tested on adults.

Timing for LASIK: The eye continues to change until the body stops growing. The key is to wait until the eyeglass prescription stops changing. For girls they may be candidates as early as 18 and boys may need to wait until they are 22 or 23.
