How does getting laser eye surgery feel like?

Variable: Depends on the type of laser surgery. Flaps created with microkeratomes are different than intralase (since the suction seal has to be tight so vision goes out during the blade cutting). In general, no discomfort during the laser but may have pain after, especially with prk. During the laser, you see a bright light that blurs, then clears.
