What will i feel when getting laser eye surgery?

Very little: The procedure is painless. The only discomfort that people may experience is from the pressure created by the eyelid opener, which is minor. After the procedure, temporary foreign body sensation may occur to different levels depending whether you have had lasik or prk.

No pain: Lasik eye surgery only takes around 15 minutes per eye. Your procedure will begin with topical anesthetic drops used to numb and dilate your eyes. You will be awake during the procedure, but you will be given a sedative to keep you relaxed. You will feel temporary pressure but no pain.
