Depends on : The tendon. Most of the time allowing them to rest thru immobilization is helpful. Walking boots are great for this. I would recommend while in bed and the foot is off weight to engage in some gentle exercising.

A few things: There are numerous tendons in the foot, so not all tendon issues are treated exactly the same. General guidelines include: good supportive shoes, rest, ice, foot supports and oral antiinflammatories. If there is swelling, bruising, and your symptoms do not improve with these measures consider seeing a podiatrist.
