See a doctor: At least an x-ray needs to be taken to determine if there is a fracture, once determined then treatment can be started and possible crutches or walking boot.

Have it evaluated.: Pain due to trauma may be due to fracture, sprains, arthritis, muscle, nerve or tendon injuries. Have the foot evaluated so that you may get her the appropriate care. You may need to have it immobilized.
