Disclaimer

sprained ankle 3mths ago xrayed no fracture, still in pain when i walk on the side of my ankle,and a bit swollen, help!

Sprained ankle 3 mo.: It's not clear that you have had any treatment for the sprain. The ankle ligament or ligaments were injured. You probably need to strengthen the muscles around the ankle to help stabilize it while walking. If you have not had any physical therapy, then you should try to get some therapy along with home exercises.
