Around period?: Vaginal secretions end up in urine samples. If you're about to start, are on, or just coming off of your period this could account for the blood and a little protein, even if you can't see it. If there is concern regarding kidney stones or other renal problem, that will likely be further worked up by your doctor.

Need work up : Blood and protein in urine is abnormal and would suggest consulting with a kidney doctor. The urine should be repeated and a urine for protein and Urine for creatinine be done. Best of luck
