My mom has hypo thyroid for the last 5 years. she is taking medicines like (thyronom) even then her lower right leg muscles has swelling and tight.

Not thyroid.: If her TSH is normal ( and i suspect it should be since she is taking thyronorm for a long time under the care of a physician) then her thyroid is not responsible for her leg complaints.
