Sprain: The best treatment is rest, foot elevation and cold compresses the first 2 days then heat after that. Try limit walking the first few days.

Rest, K laser: Need a stress x-ray to make sure its only a sprain and undiagnosed midfoot lis francs sprain that can lead to a midfoot dislocation. I have an onsite live x ray machine to this. If the mid foot is stable, the k laser will reduce the swelling and pain in fractures and sprains and return patients to their sport faster. Epat shock is also very good a reducing swelling . Are you sure sprain: If you have not seen a podiatrist do so to rule out fracture. Rice, rest, ice, compression, elevation.
