I don't have a high threshold for pain of mental or physical nature. should i always take anti anxiety such as xanax (alprazolam) and pain meds when i need it?

Pain intolerance: Xanax (alprazolam) & pain meds. Can be addicting in the long-run. Wondering if u try non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs first, or antidepressants that would work for your type of pain such as cymbalta. Discuss your options with your primary care doc.
