How severe?: Most often, insomnia is better described as nightime hyperarousal. Usually, it is a component of anxiety. If one is treated with one medication for mood the chance of complete remission of all symptoms is 30%. Insomnia, daytime fatigue and pain out of proportion to damage is left. Teeth grinding, bruxism, is common. If sleep hygiene isn't doing it, Clonazepam at 1-2 mg can be a life saver.
