Consistency: Always go to bed at same time, have no contact with electronics in bedroom, no contact with blue light at least 1 hr prior to bed, do not go to bed agitated or upset, try to eliminate any provocative medications, no caffeine late in day (especially, soft drinks), best to avoid sleeping pills, tranquilizers, and sedatives; check food intake as some may stimulate.
