More not better: Scar tissue builds after every surgery. Scar can cause some of the pain but usually traction of the nerve which is scarred in place is the culprit during movement. Removing scar doesn't typically help- first rule of surgery is "scar begets scar"- meaning that more surgery only causes more scar. See your spine surgeon or get another opinion and even get an evaluation from a pain specialist.
