Supportive care: Rupture of veins are not uncommon. Keep a vigil eye on it. If there is no expansion of blood under the skin, then it should resolve over time. The skin may turn yellow/blue for about two weeks (ecchymosis) , but then should subside. If you are not sure, then have a physician check it out.
