A member asked:

I have a bump on my left ring finger (palm side) that i was told is a cyst. however, when i try popping it all i get is a lot of blood and it never shrinks (like a fluid filled bump would if you drained the fluid). how do i get rid of it?

Surgical excision : You should have this removed surgically for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. If it is a true cyst the lining has to be removed or it will continue to recur.

Leave it alone. : You should not attempt to treat such lesions at home. See your doctor.
