I am pregnant & we filter our tap water but it doesn't remove flouride. (1 ppm)should i be concerned about how much flouride is reaching the baby?

No: There is research that indicates prenatal Fluoride can be beneficial in dental development. Be sure you are not getting too much fluoride. 1ppm in the water is safe, just don't add additional supplementation. As always check with your healthcare provider.

Fluoride : The levels of Fluoride in the water and regulated and very safe. Fluoride strengthens the enamel of the teeth as they are forming. The baby's primary teeth begin to form at 4 months in utero and the fluoridated water will help to make these teeth strong and more resistant to dental decay.
