Caffeine: Caffeine usually has the opposite affects on the joints. It can be used to decrease inflammation in the joints. However, you may have an allergic reaction to the caffeine itself which is causing inflammation of the joints in your body. Do you get the same pain when you drink coffee or tea? If so then this could be the problem. If so you may need to stop drinking soda and drink water.
