My 2 yo was diagnosis w/mono. symptoms for 2/3 wk. Ldh is 900, WBC still going up now 30k. Spleen size down. Liver enzymes up. Fever gone. Are labs consistent w/dx? How long until labs down? Could it be leukemia?
Had labs done. WBC 3.4 (low), RDW 15.2 (h) Plat 137 (L), poly 46% (L), neutrophil abs 1.6 (L) Lymph 44% (H) should I request leukemia screening?
Mono pct auto 9.3, up from 7.3 in April, and 6.1 in May 2021. MPV 11.4 for last year. Other labs normal. Joint & rib pain. Family history of cancer at young age. My PCP says no indication of lymphoma or leukemia. Should I seek second opinion?
My CBC is WBC 9.2, RBC 5.5, hgb 16.1, hct 46.4, MCV 84.4, MCH 29.3, mchc 34.7, %rdw-cv 12.4, PLT 254, mpv 12.2, % neut 46.8, % lymp 40.5, % mono 9.4 .. Is it good or bad. Plz comment on high mpv value?
