Unlikely: The numbers you cite are likely a nonspecific stress response.It is not that elevated, and you are not going to have leukemia emerging if the other elements of your CBC are normal. An early victim of any leukemia is the platelet count, which declines because the leukemia takes up the room needed to build new platelets.

Unlikely: If this is the only abnormality of your cbc, than a diagnosis of leukemia is unlikely; however, leukemia may also be associated with normal or even decreased wbc, so a consultation with your doctor is the best way to address your concern. Of note, your WBC is only slightly elevated and most of the times this finding is associated with an infectious or inflammatory process.
