Not exactly "no" : Rhodiola rosea is an herbal "adaptogen" -- suggesting it can improve adaptation & resilience to stress. At least 1 small pilot study has shown a specific rhodiola extract's [rhodax] usefulness in generalized anxiety d/o: http://www.Ncbi.Nlm.Nih.Gov/pubmed/18307390?Dopt=abstract existing studies seem contradictory: http://www.Ncbi.Nlm.Nih.Gov/pubmed/22643043 could be good herb, needing study.
